Text Box: Trojan Electric Motors have been designed and engineered to provide long and reliable service in harsh working environments. We currently stock motors ranging from 0.18kW to 315kW. Upon request our factory manufactures motors up to and including 4000kW in low and medium voltage. Our design and engineering criteria take into account the special requirements for a diverse range of industrial users. Trojan Electric Motors supply to the pumping and fan industries right through to heavy industrial mining and quarry sites. MD1C motors have cast iron stator frames, and shields and terminal boxes. Stator frames are of T200 (flame proof grade) cast iron as well as the terminal boxes and end shields. MD1A motors have aluminium stator frames and terminal boxes with cast iron end shields. To enable terminal box to be on top or either side of the motor the motors have bolt on feet which can be located at 90 degree mounting positions. All three phase Trojan Electric Motors have high starting torque and low starting currents because the rotors have a double squirrel caged design, which is pressure die cast in high purity aluminium.
